Location - Wichita, KS Or Remote within US
ITAR Resource - Experience level - 3+ Years
Skilled Cloud Automation Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to drive operational excellence, reliability, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in AWS/Azure cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation-first operations.
This role requires a blend of software engineering, infrastructure automation, cloud operations, and production support capabilities to ensure highly available, resilient, and scalable services.
- Drive improvements in service reliability, availability, and performance.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), post-incident reviews, and problem management activities.
- Reduce MTTR through automation and self-healing solutions.
Cloud Operations & Platform Engineering: Manage and support AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. Design highly available and scalable cloud-native architectures. Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and cloud optimization. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Automation & DevOps: Able to develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab. Automate provisioning, deployments, monitoring, patching, and operational tasks. Implement Gitops practices using Argo CD or similar technologies.
Monitoring & Observability: Implement enterprise monitoring solutions. Configure dashboards, alerts, and automated remediation. Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to identify proactive improvements. Establish application and infrastructure observability standards.
