Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and design individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Leverage evidence-based interventions to boost motor skills, cognitive functions, and overall daily activities.
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work collaboratively with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to offer integrated, well-rounded care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education regarding therapy processes to support ongoing progress once patients are home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans as necessary to maintain patient progress.

Education Required

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Licensure Needed

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory.
