Sr Principal Real-time Software Engineer

Salary: $132,400 - 251,600 per year Requirements:

• We typically require a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• We need experience in at least two of the following areas: embedded C++ software, embedded software security, or software architecture design and implementation.
• We require experience with embedded real-time operating systems such as Green Hills, Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, or Linux.
• We need experience developing complex systems that integrate hardware, firmware, and software.
• We require an active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance before the start date, along with the ability to obtain program access.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

• We architect, design, implement, test, and debug integrated embedded real-time software for heterogeneous systems that combine firmware and hardware.
• We collaborate within a cross-functional team to define, refine, and enhance product concepts, implementation, testability, and measurable quality.
• We coach, mentor, and support less experienced team members.
• We contribute to proposals and participate in preliminary and critical design reviews.
• We work in an Integrated Product Team environment to support current and next-generation autonomous avionics solutions.
• We apply Lean and Agile practices to ensure our embedded software reliably performs its intended functions.
