DentalCares - Cordova is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our patient-focused team in Cordova, Tennessee. We are looking for a positive, hardworking professional who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Position Details

This full-time position offers the following schedule:

Monday: 7:40 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:40 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:40 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday: 7:40 AM - 5:00 PM
Every Other Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health while contributing to a positive and efficient office environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing preventive and periodontal dental hygiene services
• Performing patient assessments and documenting clinical findings
• Taking digital radiographs and maintaining accurate patient records
• Educating patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and treatment recommendations
• Identifying areas of concern and collaborating with the doctor on treatment planning
• Building trust and rapport with patients through excellent communication and care
• Maintaining compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
• Supporting office goals through teamwork, efficiency, and exceptional patient service
• Contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients and team members

Requirements

• Current Tennessee Dental Hygienist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Strong clinical and patient education skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support office success
• Goal-oriented approach to patient care and personal growth
• Commitment to delivering outstanding patient experiences
• Experience with digital radiography and dental software preferred

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
