HR Business Partner

Summary The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a liaison between Human Resources and the business. The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic partner with local plant management and the Director of Human Resources. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works with Director or Human Resources to ensure a unified company image is maintained for all HR related matters. Aligning HR practices with business goals and leading change management projects. Ensures employee and company information is confidentially maintained. Conducts an open-door policy regarding employee issues/concerns. Resolve complex employee relations issues and improve work relationships and productivity. Analyze trends and metrics and report on HR functions. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply. Administers SMAC bonus program for managers. Develops company policies and handbooks in conjunction with Director of Human Resources and communicating to employees. Works with managers to ensure disciplinary actions and terminations are approved and handled appropriately. Writes contracts for promotions, transfers, and new hires and develops company policies and practices. Self-assesses and receives training as required. Position Requirements Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development from four-year college or university, with three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or five to ten years related experience.
