Growing together.If you are located in TX, you will have the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough challenges.Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for incoming calls from patients, physicians and healthcare organizationsUsing the nursing process and software protocols, the nurse will assess the patient and based upon Triage guidelines, will offer appropriate options for careFacilitate referrals to primary care providers, specialists, healthcare facilities, and community resourcesFacilitate communication with providers and healthcare organizations as appropriateYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required QualificationsAssociates of Applied Science in NursingRN from an approved school of nursing with current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas5+ years of progressive clinical RN experience in acute care setting for adult and/or pediatric patientsProven basic PC skills including Windows Operating SystemDemonstrated typing skills of 30 WPMProven excellent communication skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing3+ years of RN experience in an Emergency Department1+ years of triage nurse experience*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
