Pediatric - Radiology Physician

Greenstaff Physician & Provider Solutions

Leading Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Radiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity. This role offers flexible remote or onsite coverage , with a strong focus on musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging in a specialized pediatric setting.
Schedule & Coverage

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call: Shared rotation (1 week in 5); rarely called in
Commitment: Full-time required (5 days/week)
Start Date: ASAP ongoing assignment

Practice Details

Pediatric-focused radiology department
Approx. 45,000 imaging exams annually
Case Mix: 80% musculoskeletal imaging
No emergency room coverage required
Modern imaging technology and systems, including:
- EMR: Epic (Hyperspace)
- PACS: Sectra IDS7
- Advanced MRI, ultrasound, and digital radiography systems

Key Responsibilities

Interpret pediatric imaging studies with a focus on MSK imaging
Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
Participate in rotating call schedule
Optional involvement in MSK procedures/interventions

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology or MSK Radiology (required)
Minimum 1 year of pediatric radiology experience
Active Texas license or eligibility via IMLC
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
