The Role
We’re looking for a Communications Manager who can capture our energy and share our story across all channels. This is a role for a "doer"—someone who loves to write, create, and engage. You’ll be the voice of our brand, translating the magic of our events into compelling digital and print content.
You’ll manage the day-to-day flow of our communications—handling social media, email marketing, and local PR—while celebrating both the glamor and the grit that make our work so rewarding.
What You’ll Do
- Execute the Story: Manage the daily "voice" of the brand across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and email newsletters.
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality written and visual content, from blog posts and press releases to real-time "behind-the-scenes" event coverage.
- Media Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for local media, bloggers, and community partners.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure all marketing materials—from menus to digital ads—align with our brand identity.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Culinary teams to promote seasonal menus, special packages, and community initiatives.
- Event Presence: Attend key events to capture photography/videography and manage "live" social storytelling.
- Reporting: Track engagement metrics and campaign performance to see what’s resonating with our community.

- A Content Machine: You have a knack for finding the "hook" in every story and can write quickly and effectively.
- Agile & Adaptable: You thrive in the fast-paced world of hospitality and don't mind shifting gears when an event schedule changes.
- Visually Minded: You have a solid eye for photography and basic design (Canva, etc.) to make our food and events look as good as they taste.
- Community-Focused: You understand the Athens scene and love building relationships with local influencers and organizations.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in communications, social media management, or PR.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio of published content.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools and email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Klaviyo).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends for event coverage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
