Position: Manufacturing Junior Maintenance Mechanic


City: San Bernardino, CA


Pay: $21.00 to $21.25 per hour


Company: Door Manufacturing Facility


Position Type: Temp to Hire


Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, plus overtime as needed


Job Summary:


Under direct supervision, you will help maintain production equipment and facility systems to keep operations running safely and efficiently.


Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and assist with equipment repairs.
• Inspect and maintain packaging equipment, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
• Perform general facility maintenance, including painting, plumbing, and minor electrical repairs.
• Help maintain HVAC systems and other building equipment.
• Assist with installing and modifying equipment as needed.
• Keep maintenance work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Report major repair needs to management.
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies.

Requirements:

• Basic maintenance experience or strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks.
