About the Position

Job Title: Neuro ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Current California RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Charge experience preferred, travel experience required Description: Seeking a dedicated and skilled Neuro ICU Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-acuity Neuro ICU environment. Responsibilities include care for neurosurgical and neurological patients with complex needs. Required skills include managing patients on ventilators and administering blood products. Candidates should be familiar with interpreting arterial blood gases and recognize dysrhythmias. Experience with the care of patients requiring neurovascular interventions is preferred. Familiarity with EVD and other neuro-specialty equipment is advantageous. A strong ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to patient-centered care. Caring for complex patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure will be a key component of the role. A focus on high-quality clinical outcomes and patient safety is mandatory.
