Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound exams, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-caliber diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging devices while promptly reporting any equipment issues
• Accurately document imaging procedures and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of evolving ultrasound techniques and adhere to best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
