Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive array of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately document all procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
