Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join an expanding team of imaging professionals committed to providing outstanding care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing compassionate explanations of each step
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar accrediting body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
