Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout the process by explaining procedures with clarity and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are provided
• Maintain imaging equipment while reporting any malfunctions immediately
• Document procedures accurately and maintain thorough patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep up to date with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
