Your tasks:

• Responsibility for the disposition of material to ensure the timely supply security of our production and customers
• Control and processing of orders with assigned suppliers
• Initiating measures to minimize supply risks and improve delivery reliability
• Analysis and optimization of inventory levels, safety stock, and batch sizes; creation of delivery forecasts
• Coordination, scheduling, and support in the implementation of new logistics processes in connection with the teams in Waukesha and Jenbach
• Onboarding & training of new suppliers regarding logistics issues in the USA (online and on-site at the suppliers if necessary)
• Support of the project management in the establishment of production planning in the USA
• Maintenance of relevant master data to ensure data quality

Your profile:

• Completed technical or commercial education (FH/University) and relevant professional experience in relevant areas (purchasing, logistics, production, etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills and structured working method
• Teamwork and the ability to work independently and proactively
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and advanced Excel skills are an advantage
• Very good German and English language skills as well as negotiation and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to the USA (approx. 25% travel time)

Special features of the position:

• The position is initially located for 12 months in Jenbach, Austria. During this time, a willingness to travel approx. 25% is expected to support the new US business in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
• After the 12 months, there is the possibility of moving to Waukesha, Wisconsin, to strengthen the local team on site or to continue the role from Jenbach.
