Senior HVAC Service Technician The Chadds Ford Climate Control family is in search of a motivated Senior HVAC Service Technician interested in joining our team. We are currently hiring an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician in the Delco, Chester County, and Northern Delaware areas for residential and light commercial HVAC service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. Position Summary The Senior HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing a wide range of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This includes forced-air systems, boilers, oil burners, ductless mini-splits, heat pumps, and light commercial equipment. Geothermal experience is a plus. This role is ideal for a technician with strong troubleshooting skills, professional customer communication, and the ability to work independently while also supporting the service team. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems Service boilers, oil burners, forced-air systems, ductless systems, and heat pumps Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, combustion, and control issues Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections Communicate findings clearly with customers and provide repair options Complete service tickets, photos, and documentation accurately Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle Follow company procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices Assist with mentoring junior technicians when needed Provide professional, respectful service in customers’ homes and businesses Requirements Minimum of 5 years of HVAC service experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Proficient with boilers, oil burners, ductless systems, forced air, and heat pumps Light commercial HVAC experience required Geothermal experience is a plus EPA certification required Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members Professional appearance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualifications NATE certification Experience with Bryant, Carrier, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Bosch, or similar systems Hydronics and combustion analysis experience Controls and zoning experience Experience training or leading other technicians Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Sick days Holiday pay Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle Steady year-round work Training and growth opportunities Supportive, family-owned company environment Healthy work-life balance #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Jobline ZR
