2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift (3:30pm-1:00am) or 3rd shift (Journeyman tech) in Wooster, OH. The role involves performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of production machines.ResponsibilitiesPerform highly mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair to install and maintain production machines.Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment and perform scheduled maintenance.Conduct electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.Execute simple machinist or fabricator duties and responsibilities.Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.Essential Skills4+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including hydraulics and pneumatics.Basic troubleshooting skills for PLCs and automation systems.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.High School Diploma or GED.Experience with motors, motor controls, sensors, switches, photo eyes, VFD's, and automated systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with servo systems, machine vision, and robotics is a plus.Why Work Here?Enjoy excellent health benefits with company-covered premiums, a low deductible, and an 80/20 plan.
