Two immediate positions are available to cover maternity leaves: the first from the end of September to mid-December, and the second from mid-November through early January. With 35 hours per week, these onsite opportunities promise professional growth while supporting students’ communication needs during critical academic periods.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Connecticut SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Minimum of one year school-based SLP experience
• Experience working with K-12 populations
• Comfortable providing services onsite only
• District fingerprinting and background check clearance
• SLPA certification not accepted for these roles
• Efficient with completing district-specific onboarding and licensure documentation as needed
• Readiness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy and comprehensive services for K-12 students
• Conduct evaluations, manage IEPs, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams
• Maintain accurate and timely student records, progress documentation, and reporting
• Communicate effectively with educators and families to support student outcomes
• Adapt to varying caseloads and school needs during the assignment period
