About the Company

Orison Holdings, LLC is a real estate investment and development firm in Denton, Texas specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of a diverse portfolio of properties and operating companies across multiple industries.  We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team.

Position Summary  
The Accounting Manager is responsible for full-cycle accounting operations across multiple entities, including financial reporting, payroll and benefits administration, intercompany billing, cash management, and compliance.  This is an in-office role.

Key Responsibilities 

·         Supervise a staff accountant and oversee daily accounting operations  

·         Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for multiple entities  

·         Support development team through project reporting and loan maintenance 

·         Process bi-weekly payroll 

·         Manage & reconcile benefit invoices and assist with annual benefit renewal  

·         Oversee intercompany expense allocations and billing   

·         Prepare annual financial budgets for operating companies

·         Monitor cash needs across entities and coordinate funding with management 

·         Prepare and file annual 1099 reports for all entities 

·         Administer the accounting software programs 

·         Identify opportunities for system improvements and automation 

Qualifications  

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 

·         5+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership responsibilities 

·         Experience with financial reporting for multiple entities or properties 

·         Proficiency in accounting software, Quickbooks or Yardi preferred

·         Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

·         Experience with payroll processing and systems, Paylocity a plus
