Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document progress.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapy disciplines, to coordinate care.
- Adhere to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting guidelines; maintain compliance with documentation standards.
- Support discharge planning and patient/c caregiver education as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in California.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or as required by state regulations.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Experience in acute care or inpatient settings preferred; travel experience not required but advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in an inpatient acute care setting and participate in an interdisciplinary team.
