Job Description

Job Title: Cardiologist
Location: Vancouver, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $261 - $281/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Vancouver, Washington. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Cardiologist:
• Provide outpatient cardiology services in a clinic setting serving adult patients
• Maintain an average patient load of 16 patients per day
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including EP, Interventionalists, APCs, RNs, MAs, Cardiac Sonographers, and Device Techs
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Maintain current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Hold a Washington state license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand
• Provide documentation of clinical services (minimum 100 cases) representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirements with no exemptions
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation prior to beginning clinical duties
• Maintain a minimum of 2 years of cardiology experience
• Adhere to all credentialing, privileging, and compliance documentation requirements
• Fulfill a 6-month assignment with 8-hour daily shifts and no call requirement
