Position: Journeyman Electrician — Lincoln (multiple openings) Company Overview Local, family‑owned electrical contractor. Position Summary Seeking experienced Nebraska‑licensed Journeyman Electricians to perform commercial electrical construction work on assigned projects from start to finish. Candidates should be able to troubleshoot systems, lead teams, ensure code compliance, and promote a safety‑first culture. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical construction work on commercial projects from start to finish Troubleshoot and resolve electrical circuits, systems, and equipment issues Resolve escalated field issues professionally while maintaining customer satisfaction Collaborate with Field Support teams to keep projects on schedule Apply and enforce national and local electrical codes and stay current on industry changes Promote and model a safety‑first culture on every job site Mentor, evaluate, and develop team members; provide hands‑on guidance Required Qualifications Nebraska State Journeyman Electrician License required (reciprocal licenses from neighboring states accepted if legally eligible to work as a journeyman in Nebraska) 1‑5+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in electrical construction Commercial electrical experience strongly preferred Foreman/job‑running experience is a plus (may affect pay and bonus potential) Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and OSHA safety standards Skilled with trade‑related materials, equipment, installation methods, blueprint/drawing interpretation, and trade calculations Ability to read and interpret blueprints confidently Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills Valid driver's license Ability to pass pre‑employment screening Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay based on experience; higher pay and bonus potential for foreman/job‑running experience.
