Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) in a hospital-based outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic. This role involves organizing and conducting physical therapy programs to facilitate the rehabilitation of individuals with physical and psychosocial disabilities. The position requires directing patient participation in treatments aimed at restoring function, promoting health, and supporting discharge planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; evaluation and treatment skills appropriate for patients' developmental and chronological ages; professional initiative, objectivity, good time management, and interpersonal skills; physically, cognitively, and perceptually able to provide patient treatment and assist with physical mobility; valid Physical Therapist license in Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, educating patients and families, and supporting departmental operations such as documentation and billing. Submission requires completing the UHS Skills Checklist, Driver's License/State ID, UHS Submission Packet, and UHS Prior Employment Form.
