About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director, Head of Clinical Data Management to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be the senior-most leader in clinical data management, responsible for owning the CDM strategy, leading and developing the team, and serving as a key partner to executive leadership. This role involves setting the overall data strategy across the clinical portfolio, overseeing all data management activities from study startup through database lock, and shaping the operating model across various delivery approaches. The Executive Director will also be tasked with driving CRO oversight, vendor management, and inspection readiness, as well as building scalable processes, standards, and best practices across the department. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' of clinical data management leadership experience in biotech or pharma, with a proven track record of leading teams and building high-performing organizations. A strong background in supporting regulatory submissions and approvals, deep understanding of both outsourced and in-house operating models, and experience with EDC and modern clinical data technologies are essential. The role requires a leader with strong cross-functional leadership skills, executive presence, and the ability to balance strategy with execution.
