Senior Quality Assurance AnalystGenesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role serves as a subject matter expert with deep functional and technical knowledge of assigned applications, partnering closely with Development and Product teams to ensure quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will lead and govern testing efforts across business change initiatives, define comprehensive test strategies, and mentor junior team members while championing continuous improvement and testing excellence. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.Responsibilities:Serve as a subject matter expert with deep functional and technical knowledge of assigned applicationsLead and govern testing efforts across business change initiatives, aligning with change management activitiesDefine and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensure appropriate coverage, analyze results, and provide guidance on quality risks and release decisionsMentor and coach junior team members, drive testing best practices, and champion continuous improvementAssess the impact of new or modified requirements on existing and new systems, ensuring risks and dependencies are identified earlyProactively identify project bottlenecks, risks, and impediments, and track issues to resolutionOversee defect management end-to-end, including identification, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution trackingAct as the primary escalation point for testing-related issues that may impact scope, timeline, or delivery qualityLeverage enterprise testing and delivery tools such as JIRA and ALM Octane for planning, execution, and reportingProvide guidance on test automation strategy and adoptionDevelop and maintain the System Test Plan, including risk assessments and test approachProvide hands-on testing or leadership support during critical phases of deliveryRequirements:Demonstrated expertise in QA processes, testing standards, and delivery quality governance in complex environmentsStrong command of test planning, execution, defect management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery modelsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a risk-based mindsetProven stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiencesAbility to work effectively across distributed teams and drive quality initiativesKnowledge of Cucumber-based test automation frameworksExperience with SeleniumPay range: $49.37 - $57.37 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
