Job Full Opportunity Brief Title: In-House Counsel – Employment Law Focus Category: Jobs Organiser: Akron Children's Description: Akron Children's is hiring an Associate Counsel to provide legal support and advice under the guidance of senior legal personnel. The role involves conducting legal research, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and representing the hospital in administrative agency matters (EEOC, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, etc.). The successful candidate will collaborate with HR, finance, and medical staff to address diverse legal issues and manage risk. Eligibility: Applicants must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio (or have the ability to obtain licensure). A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience is required, with a preference for expertise in employment law, healthcare regulations, and corporate governance.
