Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: First Assist Technician \n Discipline: Allied Health Professional \n Start Date: 07/20/2026 \n Duration: 12 weeks \n 40 hours per week \n Shift: 10 hours \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Job Title: Certified Surgical First Assistant Location: Norwalk OH 44857 \n Shift: Day 4x10 ( 7:00 am – 5:15) pm \n Duration: 13 Weeks \n Total Hourly Pay Rate: $60 \n Weekly Gross: $2400 \n Start Date: 7/20/2026 CSFA – Days | 13-Week Contract Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate Schedule: \n \n 10-hour day shifts \n Monday through Friday \n 13-week assignment \n \n Required Experience:\n \n Must have orthopedic robotic surgery experience \n Experience in both the Main OR and OB/C-Section cases \n \n Call Requirements:\n \n Minimum of 2 weekday call shifts per week (Monday–Friday). Call begins immediately after your scheduled shift. For example, if your shift ends at 3:30 PM, your call starts at 3:30 PM. \n Weekday call shifts are 8 hours and may be combined upon request (e.g., 3:00 PM–7:00 AM) to meet the weekly requirement. \n Weekend call is required: One 24-hour weekend call (Saturday 7:00 AM–Sunday 7:00 AM or Sunday 7:00 AM–Monday 7:00 AM) will be scheduled every 4 weeks. \n Holiday call is required: At least one 24-hour holiday call (7:00 AM–7:00 AM) in addition to weekend call. \n If a scheduled call shift is missed due to another staff member calling off, an additional call shift may be added to the next 4-week schedule. \n Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 20 minutes for emergency call-ins. \n For scheduled on-call cases, staff must report 1 hour before the scheduled procedure. \n \n Additional Responsibilities During Call:\n \n RNs will remain in PACU after on-call cases to support patient care. \n RNs and Surgical Techs are responsible for cleaning rooms, instruments, and preparing the OR before leaving. \n C-section cases are handled by the on-call OR team.
