Patient Accounts Associate

To support the billing and collection efforts of the Patient Financial Services department, the full-time Patient Accounts Associate will manage third-party claims, post transactions, and ensure compliance with financial policies, transitioning to a remote role after 90 days. Key responsibilities Manage billing and collection of third-party claims and self-pay accounts Post billing transactions and ensure compliance with departmental policies Discuss account statuses with patients and determine referrals for external collections Required qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in healthcare or business preferred 1-3 years of experience in healthcare billing, collections, or banking collections Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Basic knowledge of accounting principles and medical terminology preferred Ability to type accurately at a minimum of 25 words per minute
