# Job Opportunity – OB/GYN Physician – Ohio

**Schedule:** 24-hour inpatient coverage shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM; Monday through Friday rounding 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; solo call coverage; weekend coverage includes spontaneous deliveries and ER call as scheduled

**Highlights:**

– Inpatient-only coverage with no scheduled clinic responsibilities
– Average 3-5 deliveries per day, approximately 500 deliveries annually
– 80% OB / 20% GYN case mix with Level 1 Nursery (NRP certification required)
– Electronic Medical Records: Epic
– Responsibilities include rounding on post-partum patients, spontaneous deliveries, pre-scheduled C-sections, and ER coverage on assigned call days
– Deliver 35+ weeks gestation; no VBACs; Neonatologist support available daily

**Requirements:**

– Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (Board Certification required after 5 years of practice; Board Eligible accepted if less than 5 years)
– Active Ohio medical license and DEA (IMLC candidates considered, but Ohio license strongly preferred)
– All OB procedures required; circumcision experience preferred
– NRP Certification required
– BLS and ACLS certifications
– Clean background check and two professional references required
– Local candidates preferred
