Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $1880 per week.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Mountain Division.

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Rotate weekend call every four weeks. Call is utilized to fill evening/night staffing holes Monday-Thursday and is evenly distributed among team. Typical call shifts are 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours. Every attempt is made to not schedule more than 60 hours of work and call combined in a week.

Unit Details: Burn cases with high-acuity patients mostly from ICU: wound debridement, skin grafting, dressing changes. Dental restoration (cavities) and oral maxillofacial procedures. ENT cases from tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy through parathyroidectomy and cochlear implants. Gastroenterology procedures including EGD and colonoscopy. General surgery cases. Gynecology procedures including ablations and vaginal/abdominal hysterectomies. Neuro cases including stealth, spinal fusions, discectomy, and craniotomy. Open heart cases including CABG, fem-pop, and fistulas. Ophthalmology procedures including vitrectomy, cataracts, and corneal transplant. Orthopedics including trauma, total joints, and sports medicine. Plastics including breast augmentation and reconstruction. Psychiatry procedures including electroconvulsive therapy. Robotics cases in gynecology, general, and urology. Trauma cases including damage control resuscitative surgery, neuro, ortho, and general. Urology procedures including cystoscopy, TURB, TURP, and stents.

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
