Registered Nurse (RN)-Medical Step-Down

Pay Rate: $ 1,700 To $ 1,947 Per week

Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Step-Down for a 13-week contract in Cleveland, Ohio. The RN will provide nursing care to patients requiring Medical Step-Down level monitoring and treatment.

Candidates may work either permanent night shifts or a day/night rotation that changes every three weeks. Weekend and holiday rotation is required, and candidates must have at least one year of critical care or step-down nursing experience.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring Medical Step-Down level care.

• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions based on clinical needs.

• Monitor patients closely for changes in condition and communicate significant findings to the healthcare team.

• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurses, and other interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout the assigned shift.

• Minimum 1 Year of Critical Care or Step-Down RN Experience Required.

• Current, Active Ohio Registered Nurse License Required.

• Current American Heart Association BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification Required.

• 2 Years of Critical Care or Step-Down Experience and BSN or Other Professional Nursing Certification Recognized by the Magnet Association Preferred.

This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced Step-Down RN comfortable working 12-hour night shifts or rotating day/night schedules with weekend and holiday coverage.
