Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and identify customer needs
• Explain products and services to customers
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
• Enter and process customer orders
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints
• Open and close the store.
• Assist customers.
• Stocking inventory and place merchandise in the right places.
• Cashier transactions.
• Computerized POS system.
• Unload the trucks on an ad-hoc basis, lift up to 20 pounds at least once per 8 hour daily shift.
• Answer telephones.
• Light data entry into POS system.
• Multi-task. Good customer service skills.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, no minimum education.
• Entry Level.
• Knowledge of art supplies.
• Basic computer skills.
• Training will be provided on POS system and telephone system.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
