In this role, you will partner closely with the VP Operations & Supply Chain, the direct team of the SVP RAQA, and other cross-functional leaders to consolidate operations business performance, support return on investment (ROI) modeling for strategic projects, manage operating expense and CORS planning, and deliver reporting, results, and strategic insights to key stakeholders.What You Will Be DoingAnalyze performance vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods; clearly communicate key drivers and implicationsPartner with cost accounting manager to understand key assumptions in CORS (cost of revenue sold) and gross margin and assist in forecasting and reportingPrepare and enhance reporting with clear narratives and insights, including monthly business review report outs, project/capital updates, and roll forwardsOwn monthly close activities for areas of ownership including accruals, reclasses, and headcount reconciliationsBuild return on investment models for savings initiatives and strategic projectsSupport annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes, including scenario/sensitivity analysisPartner with leaders and budget owners to manage expenses, track spend, identify risks/opportunities, and support cost initiativesPartner with the Cost Accounting team to ensure alignment of accounting treatment of actuals aligns with forecasting and modelingProvide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as neededWhat We Want to SeeBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field5+ years of experience in FP&A, operations finance, or related rolesExperience in modeling and working with large data setsAdvanced Excel and Powerpoint skillsStrong analytical and communication skills, including comfort presenting to senior stakeholdersHealthcare, medical device, and/or public company experience a plusWays To Stand OutHigh attention to detail and ability to network with business owners outside of own area of expertiseExperience supporting the Operations/Manufacturing organization or working with Cost AccountingExperience with ERP systems such as QAD or SAPExperience with Financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive a plus)Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environmentSelf-motivated and proactive with strong ownership and follow-throughWork Environment / Other Requirements:Comfortable operating independently and collaborating cross-functionally in a blended setting (remote and on-site)This role will be hybrid with 2-3 days on-site at the Orange County manufacturing and intake facility for hands on support of business partners and operations.Location:Orange County, CA, United StatesActual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.As a part of our core values, we ensure an inclusive workforce.
