Escrow Assistant

Currently, we have an Escrow Assistant opportunity with a trusted leader in the title and escrow industry , known for its stability, innovative solutions, and commitment to exceptional customer service. The Escrow Assistant will be responsible for below specific duties. Your specific duties will include:- Prepares HUD statements disclosing title/settlement fees, taxes, and payoffs for closing costs and sends to processor (may include mock CD).
- Reviews title commitments to verify vesting and legal descriptions under supervision of Escrow Officer/Lead.
- Draws loan documents including escrow/settlement instructions, payoffs, deeds, and schedules notary or attorney as required.
- Reviews executed documents returned from notary and uploads scanned packages into the system.
- Reviews recording documents ensuring all originals, affidavits, death certificates, and required documents are included.
- Assists with auditing final numbers, verifying demands, liens validity, and wire instructions.
- Tracks lender funding to ensure funds are received and ready for disbursement.
- Coordinates with Audit/Disbursing Department for file disbursement.
- Sends notification to clients once funds are disbursed.
- High school diploma required.
- 1-3 years of escrow or related experience.
- Knowledge of escrow processes, title commitments, and closing procedures.
- Ability to review and manage legal and financial documents accurately.
