Facilities Maintenance Engineer

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Pleasanton, CA. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay is $37.44 - 50/hr to start!!
- 6-12 month assignment with the potential for extension/conversion based on performance and budget.
- Monday - Friday
- Review existing and historical work order data within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to identify procedural gaps.
- Cross-reference current asset registries with physical field inventory to ensure critical equipment tags are accurate.
- Author, revise, and standardize detailed PM job plans and step-by-step procedures for critical utility and facility equipment, including but not limited to:
HVAC Systems: Air Handling Units (AHUs), HEPA filtration loops, and VAV systems.
Exhaust Systems: Lab chemical fume hoods, bio-safety cabinet exhaust fans, and stroboscopic exhaust stacks.
Plant Utilities: Chillers, cooling towers, boilers, and compressed air systems.
- HS Diploma/ GED is required (A.S or Bachelors Degree Preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in facilities engineering, reliability engineering, or maintenance operations within a regulated industry.
- Deep understanding of commercial/industrial HVAC, chilled water plants, industrial exhaust, and high-purity water system (RODI) operations and failure modes.
- Proficiency with enterprise CMMS platforms (SAP Preferred).
