Urgent Care Physician

Seeking an Urgent Care Physician to join our collaborative team We are actively recruiting for a full-time Urgent Care Physician to join our Covington Clinic in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Urgent Care team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients. Our Urgent Care teams have produced multiple 'Provider of the Year' award winners within our organization. We are proud participants in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program About the position: Clinic Hours - Open 7 days/week (8a-8p M-F, 8a-4p Sa-Su) General Schedule - 12-hours shifts Monday - Friday; weekends 8-hour shifts; every other weekend (2/month). No call expectations Average # of patients seen per day 20-25 average/peak Flu/Cold slightly higher (25-30) Support staff- average 3 PAAs per shift, 5 MAs, 3 Providers Practitioners- At least one physician is staffed with the APPs (ARNP/Pas) per shift BE/BC in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority Experience in Urgent Care strongly preferred Our distinguished recognitions include: Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery from the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) American Medical Association's 2022 Joy in Medicine Health System Recognition Program for our efforts to improve physician well-being and combat burnout The Joint Commission's award of full accreditation triennially for meeting and exceeding national and safety performance standards Inclusion on Becker's Hospital Review list of 153 Great Community Hospitals for 2023 and 2024 Patient-Centered Medical Home by the (NCQA) Receipt of an "A" grade on the Lown Institute Hospitals Index for outstanding social responsibility About the area: Located in Renton, Washington, Valley Medical Center is the largest nonprofit healthcare provider between Seattle and Tacoma, serving more than 600,000 residents. COMPENSATION: $275,000 + incentives Amounts may not include productivity, quality/service incentives, call pay, and/or extra shift incentives as applicable.
