Special Events Associate

Company Description SV Capital Collective (SVCC) is a concierge partner for B2B founders who need a strong presence in Silicon Valley without relocating. The organization represents startups at high-impact tech events and private dinners, from SF Tech Week and Disrupt to SaaStr and Ai4, and secures warm introductions to clients, customers, and investors. SVCC acts as trusted on-the-ground representation for founders across regions including the East Coast, Europe, MENA, Asia, Africa, and APAC managing in-person engagement while founders focus on building their businesses. Role Description The Special Events Associate is a contrac, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA, responsible for executing SVCC’s presence at Silicon Valley events and gatherings on behalf of clients. This role includes planning, coordinating, and managing event logistics for conferences, tech weeks, and networking sessions, ensuring that client startups are professionally represented. The Specialist will attend events, engage with attendees, capture relevant opportunities, and provide timely follow-up information and warm introductions to founders and clients. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating event schedules, managing RSVPs and guest lists, preparing event materials, and collaborating with internal teams, and with client itself to align on client goals and messaging. The position requires active on-the-ground networking, clear communication of client value propositions, and detailed reporting on event outcomes and next steps. Qualifications Must be proficient in Korean language Possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills to organize, coordinate, and execute multiple events and engagements. Possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to represent clients professionally, build rapport, and maintain high-quality interactions. Master in relationship-building skills to identify opportunities, qualify prospects, and facilitate warm introductions to clients, customers, and potentially investors. Must have strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage overlapping event timelines. Must be comfortable with frequent in-person networking, able to work in fast-paced event environments, and willing to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Experience in tech, startups, B2B services, or investor relations is beneficial; prior work in event coordination, sales, business development, or field marketing is a plus.
