Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements
- 2+ years recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
- 2+ years experience working with stroke patients
- RN license (verification must be less than 30 days old)
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- NIHSS Certification (must be obtained within 48 hours if offered)
- mRs/SIREN Certification (must be obtained within 48 hours if offered)
- COVID vaccination (declinations not accepted)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients.
- Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and provide care.
- Ensure quality of nursing services delivered by self and those under direction.
- Evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
- Comply with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.

Compliance / Notes
- Candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be accepted. Must be willing to work the facility's schedule.
