Jr-Mid Big Data Engineer - 1-3 years Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Java Perm Role $90,000-$100,000 FUN and EXCITING culture!!!!!!!!!!! Requirements Proven experience and knowledge of Hadoop and related technologies like Hive, Pig, Spark, etc. Existing DevOps skills, or a strong desire to learn and apply DevOps skills in a cloud environment: we use Scalr and Chef, but any past experience with similar frameworks will translate Java/Scala programming experience, Python also desirable Solid knowledge in all stages of the software development life cycle, including automated testing. Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with the team and occasional external stakeholders.
