The ideal candidate is experienced in breast ultrasound and interventional procedures, works well in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment, and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality imaging services. This role requires travel to our sister centers in Willowbrook, Kingwood, Red Oak, and The Woodlands.Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic breast ultrasound exams, including targeted and whole-breast screeningsAssist with ultrasound-guided interventional procedures, including biopsies and cyst aspirationsEnsure clear image quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safetyAccurately document and report findings into PACS and EMR systemsMaintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean, organized, and functioning stateAdhere to all ACR, HIPAA, and facility guidelines and protocolsCollaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure efficient patient care and workflowProvide clear instructions and emotional support to patients throughout proceduresQualifications:Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology programCurrent certification by ARDMS (RDMS) in Breast (BR) with relevant breast ultrasound experienceMinimum 1 year of experience in breast ultrasound preferredCurrent Texas Medical Board licensure (if applicable)CPR certification (BLS) requiredAt USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
