Job Details Job Location: Watertown Headquarters - Watertown, MA 02472 Position Type: Moving Foreman Education Level: High School Salary Range: $25.00 - $35.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: Road Warrior Job Shift: Any Job Category: Transportation Olympia has work and hours available. Olympia staff is working 40 plus overtime. Sign On Bonus Opportunity of up to $10K and starting rates of no less than $25.00 per hour and up to $35.00 depending on experience. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Competitive hourly wages starting at $ 25.00-$35.00 per hour with opportunity for tips and overtime; sign on bonus for experience crew chief meeting set criteria Top Crew Chiefs (traditionally known as Foreman) are earnings in range between $70,000 and $130,000 per year (wages, tips, referral incentives, bonus included) $10,000 Sign On Bonus paid out during year 1 for those who meet qualifications Full time and Flexible schedule - Tell us when you are available to work Seasonal uniforms provided Generous company cost sharing = Low cost individual and family health and dental plans 401 (K) with generous company match Paid holidays and vacation Profitability-based and recruitment referral bonuses REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 18 years old Must have reliable transportation to branch location and have valid drivers license Must have authorization to work in the United States for any employer Must be willing to undergo a criminal background investigation Above average energy, attention to detail, and organization skills Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds regularly Ability to be on your feet 6 to 10 hours a day Must be a team player and ready to tackle any challenge Available for on-time very early a.m. dispatch High school or GED equivalent RESPONSIBILITIES Always represent Olympia Moving to the best of your ability Lead, train, and mentor a moving team Communicate with clients as the primary on-site contact Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and staff Use your resources to solve problems and overcome obstacles Work on both residential and commercial moving jobs Train and coach others on how to pack household items; from books to dishes to antiques Assist with and direct team to carry heavy items up & down stairs Ensure crew protects the home: doors, stairs, floors and walls and protect furniture and equipment with moving pads Train and assist others on best practices to disassemble & re-assemble furniture and equipment Complete billing, paperwork, inventories and reporting on a mobile platform Qualifications ABOUT OUR COMPANY: Olympia Moving & Storage, a rapidly growing relocation company with 300+ employees and locations in Boston, Washington DC, Austin, Philadelphia, and now open in Tampa Florida.
