Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with experience in providing care to laboring patients and assisting with newborn care immediately after delivery. This role involves circulating and recovering patients undergoing cesarean sections and ensuring a positive patient experience through shared decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care to laboring patients and their newborns.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other procedures performed on unit.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the medical team.
- Collaborate with unit staff to ensure efficient patient care operations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Current certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced), CEFM, ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
- Must have experience in care of the laboring patient and post-delivery care for newborns.
