Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Unit in Oklahoma City, OK , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.60 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM Tue: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM Wed: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM Thu: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM Sun: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial institution location. Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to restricted areas, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols. Support cash handling and other sensitive operations by maintaining a visible presence, documenting incidents, and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
