Web Master / Web Content Administrator

Location: Washington DC / Maryland / Virginia (Primarily Remote)
Contract-to-Hire

Work Model: Remote with occasional onsite meetings (1-2x per month or quarterly)

Onsite Interview

8+ years CMS administration (Liferay preferred), Google Analytics 360 & SEO, ElasticSearch, frontend design using HTML/CSS/Dreamweaver/Adobe tools, web usability standards, content writing, and strong stakeholder communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS) with a focus on template creation, workflow configuration, and content governance
Lead development, maintenance, and deployment of web content aligned with corporate and community healthcare initiatives
Collaborate with business, communications, and technical teams to support internal and external messaging
Optimize web content using Google Analytics 360 and SEO best practices to drive awareness and engagement
Manage and configure enterprise search tools (ElasticSearch) and search requirements
Apply web usability standards and user-centric design principles to improve user experience
Support digital media management including web-based video and audio content
Perform frontend updates and enhancements using HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, and Adobe tools (Angular is a plus)
Ensure content quality, accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with organizational standards
Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders and external partners

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience as a Web Content Administrator, Web Master, or similar role
Strong experience with Content Management Systems (Liferay preferred)
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 360 , SEO, and web analytics tools
Experience with ElasticSearch and enterprise search configuration
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Adobe Creative Suite (Angular is a plus)
Strong understanding of web usability, accessibility, and design standards
Experience managing digital media (video/audio/web content)
Excellent web content writing and editorial skills
Proficient with MS Word and Excel
Strong communication skills with the ability to work with demanding stakeholders
Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is a strong plus
