Compensation: Starting at $30.00+/hour + Shift Differentials (Based on experience) + benefits
Job Description:
As a Mobile X-Ray Technologist, you'll travel to nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and other healthcare facilities to perform diagnostic imaging using state-of-the-art portable radiography equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mobile diagnostic X-Ray examinations using portable DR and CR imaging systems.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
- Transport and operate portable imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform EKG studies when required.
- Complete daily documentation and billing paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, dispatch, and management.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and patient care standards.
- Maintain company vehicle and imaging equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service while working independently across multiple facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT Certification.
- Active North Carolina Radiologic Technologist License.
- Limited licenses are not accepted.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet company health and operational requirements.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to transport and maneuver portable X-Ray equipment.
- Frequent pushing and pulling of equipment weighing up to 50–100 lbs.
- Ability to work in various healthcare environments throughout assigned territories.
