Job Details: Job Title: Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse Location: Charlottesville, VA Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 2227.32 - 2338.69 Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Travel Requirements: BLS; NRP; ACLS; PALS; 2 years PICU experience required; Dr Browns Infant Driven Feeding Cert required but can submit with that pending, has a cost of $185; must have PICU and NICU experience; must be comfortable with peds; can consider has previous NICU/PICU float pool exp; can submit with VA license pending; can adhere to UVAs float policy; shift is Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); every other weekend, must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays; no RTO can be approved the first 2 weeks of assignment; clinical review and auto offer; nights 36 or 48 hours; block scheduling cannot be accommodated/guaranteed; can offer longer assignments through 01/02/2027; can submit with VA license pending; cannot be guaranteed; must work nights. Responsibilities: Float to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, peds medsurg, peds PACU, peds ED boarders, and postpartum/mother baby. Provide high-quality nursing care in pediatric critical care settings. Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, including UVAs float policy. Support patient recovery and safety through clinical assessments and interventions. Maintain required certifications and documentation, including BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS.
