Project Architect

General Responsibilities: We are looking for a Project Architect to join our team and contribute to a wide range of projects. Essential Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct field investigations and assessments of building enclosures, including roofs, walls, fenestration, and foundations. Analyze and interpret data to identify performance issues and potential solutions. Prepare detailed reports and documentation, including repair recommendations and cost estimates. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to develop and implement repair strategies. Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to building performance and sustainability. Assist in the development of project scopes, budgets, and timelines. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge‑sharing environment. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field. Professional registration as an Architect (RA) or the ability to obtain registration within a specified timeframe. Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural practice, with a focus on building performance and investigations. Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to building enclosures. Proficiency in architectural software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively. Analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for field work as required.
