Step into a rewarding contract assignment designed for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) seeking a short-term opportunity to make a real difference. This five-month role supports students from PreK through middle school across two closely located school sites, both within a mile of each other. You’ll manage a manageable caseload of just 6 students, allowing you to provide focused and impactful care. Supervision is offered for PTAs, making this an excellent fit for both experienced professionals and those looking to grow under supportive guidance.
Qualifications:
- Active PT or PTA License in Massachusetts is essential
- Experience in school-based physical therapy is beneficial
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable supporting ages PreK through middle school
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services tailored to each student’s IEP and needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster student development
- Travel between two nearby school sites as needed
- Maintain thorough records and track progress, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
This assignment offers a highly competitive hourly pay rate between $50 and $55, with weekly pay for your convenience. The schedule is ideal for those seeking work-life balance: two days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays), with up to 7 hours per week.
