Specialty Representative, Psychiatry - Southwest Houston, TX

Field-based specialty pharmaceutical sales role focused on psychiatry in the Southwest Houston area. The position involves executing brand strategy, managing territory and accounts, and building customer relationships to drive sales performance while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Execute brand strategy and achieve sales performance targets, financial goals, and marketing objectives
• Develop call plans with pre-call objectives and post-call evaluations to optimize coverage and account frequency
• Identify and manage objections while securing actionable commitments on each sales call
• Build and maintain customer relationships by proactively addressing needs and market intelligence gathering
• Develop disease state experts and speaker/advocate networks to maximize brand performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred
• Five or more years industry experience with three years in pharmaceutical/health/science sector; high school diploma/GED minimum
• Proven sales leadership track record and strong presentation skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening and safe driving requirements
• Healthcare industry representative credentialing eligibility and background check clearance
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, and matrix environment operation capability
• Preferred: demonstrated psychiatric/therapeutic area sales success and clinical product expertise
