Family Office Analyst

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is a trusted advisor for private businesses, owners, and wealthy families. We’re seeking a Family Office Analyst (FOA) to join our Capital Partners, Multi‑Family Office (MFO) team in Charlotte. This role supports Relationship Managers (RMs) by serving as the primary contact point for ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients and managing their day‑to‑day activities. Responsibilities Relationship Management Serve as part of the “trusted advisor” team to clients, combining asset allocation and investment advice with trust, estate planning issues and specialized lending services. Deepen client relationships, develop trust and confidence through flawless execution, extensive phone contact, and participation in client meetings. Coordinate day‑to‑day activities of the dedicated client base and ensure client needs are being met. Investment Execution Coordinate all core portfolio activities on behalf of the RMs. Serve as primary interface with central management teams. Identify accounts for re‑balancing or re‑papering, review asset allocation and ensure investment guidelines are current. Create client meeting materials and manage all non‑strategic decisions (checks, funds transfers, gifting, etc.). Interact with third‑party service providers and troubleshoot client account issues. Risk Management & Administration Elevate at‑risk issues to RMs and ensure total compliance at the account level. Oversee and respond to all compliance reports. Initiate all account maintenance activities, including account reviews/approvals, documentation, meeting materials, address or name changes and performance evaluations. Oversee Administrative Assistant efforts related to client requests. Document start of relationship, ensure client account materials are up to date. Business & Professional Leadership Act as the go‑to person for questions, mentoring, and training. Foster a positive atmosphere within the office and with clients, encouraging teamwork. Represent professional behavior and etiquette, and serve as a model for other employees. Manage self‑development, adhere to agreed‑upon terms, retain and grow revenues, and take on additional special projects across the firm.
